Job summary

RPM Utilities, LLC is a growing underground utility construction company serving North Texas. We seek an experienced QA/QC Manager to oversee quality standards, ensure compliance with project specs, and support successful project execution across our underground utility operations.

The ideal candidate will lead QA/QC across multiple projects, review plans and inspection requirements, and coordinate with field teams and municipal inspectors to resolve quality concerns.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in underground utility construction, civil construction, or construction quality management.
• Experience in QA/QC leadership, construction inspection, or field management.
• Strong knowledge of underground water, sewer, and storm drainage construction practices.
• Ability to interpret construction plans, blueprints, and engineering specs.
• Familiarity with municipal standards and inspection requirements.
• Experience documenting inspections and corrective actions.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage QA/QC across multiple active projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC policies, procedures, and inspection standards.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections for compliance with plans and specs.
• Oversee QA/QC for underground utilities installations.
• Ensure compliance with municipal, state, and federal regulations.
• Review drawings, plans, specs, and inspection requirements.
• Coordinate with PMs, Superintendents, Foremen, engineers, and inspectors to resolve issues.
• Identify deficiencies, document nonconforming work, and oversee corrective actions.
• Monitor testing and inspection requirements (compaction, pressure, leakage tests).
• Maintain inspection reports, testing records, and corrective logs.
• Assist with closeout documentation, punch lists, and final inspections.
• Conduct quality training and guidance for field personnel.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality and reduce rework.
• Provide regular quality performance updates to management.
• Promote accountability and continuous improvement in field operations.
