Job summary

Big-D Heavy Industrial seeks a dynamic Quality Control Manager to lead our QA/QC program from our Tempe headquarters. Travel to project sites is required; you will implement Big-D Quality Control policies across procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning of equipment and facilities.

You will manage a team of QC professionals, drive continuous improvement, and liaise with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with contract requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 10+ years of QA/QC experience in industrial, mining, energy, manufacturing, or heavy civil construction.
• 3–5 years in a supervisory or management role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) and Project Quality Plans (PQP).
• Lead QC inspectors, technicians, and subcontractor quality personnel.
• Coordinate inspections, audits, and client/supplier quality records.
• Ensure records are audit-ready and compliant with contracts and regulations.
