Job summary

Baker Group is seeking a Senior QA/QC Specialist to lead quality planning and documentation on complex industrial projects in Des Moines. You will drive ITPs, coordinate field and shop inspections, and mentor junior QA/QC staff while ensuring compliance with the QMS and client requirements.

Responsibilities include leading QA/QC reviews, managing NCRs, and maintaining formal quality records and turnover packages for timely project closeout.

Qualifications

• Independent planning and execution of QA/QC activities across complex projects.
• Ability to review contracts, drawings, and codes to identify quality obligations.
• Experience mentoring QA/QC staff and leading cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC kickoff meetings and recurring quality reviews.
• Own ITP workflows in Procore and coordinate inspections.
• Coordinate field and shop inspections, audits, and NCR resolutions.
• Maintain project quality records and turnover packages.
• Train personnel on inspection documentation and procedures.
