Job summary

First Point Group is seeking a QA/QC Manager for electrical design-build data centers in Kentucky. You will lead the Quality Management Program, ensuring electrical installations meet project specifications, NEC/NFPA standards, and commissioning readiness.

This role partners with project leadership, field teams, vendors, and clients to drive audits, inspections, punch-list closure, and continuous improvement. You will mentor field personnel and support turnover.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/QC experience in electrical construction, mission critical, industrial, or large commercial projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems including medium and low voltage power distribution, switchgear and switchboards, UPS, generators, busway, grounding.
• Experience on data center or hyperscale projects preferred.
• Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, NETA, and industry quality standards.
• Experience managing inspections, testing procedures, and commissioning support.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain project QA/QC plans and procedures.
• Manage all inspection and testing activities throughout the construction lifecycle.
• Lead quality audits, field inspections, and compliance reviews.
• Review drawings, specs, submittals, and installation methods for quality compliance.
• Track punch lists, deficiencies, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project management, field teams, commissioning teams, and clients.
• Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and turnover packages.
• Ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, OSHA, client standards, and project specs.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities to achieve successful project delivery.
• Analyze quality trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor and develop field personnel on quality standards and best practices.
