Job summary

Brown & Root in Theodore, AL is seeking an experienced full-time QA/QC Field Technician. Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical; must have a valid driver’s license; CWI required.

Work schedule: Mon–Thu 6:00 am–4:30 pm with some overtime. Responsibilities include inspecting welds, rupture discs, relief valves, and bolt tightness; perform inspections per procedures; verify M&TE calibration; lead inspection planning and supervise inspectors; review drawings to ensure proper

Qualifications

• 3–5 years weld inspection experience.
• ASNT-TC-1A VT & PT certifications.
• CWI certification is required.
• Must pass background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welds, rupture disc, relief valves, and bolt tightness.
• Perform discipline-specific inspections and tests per procedures.
• Determine calibration status of measuring/test equipment.
• Lead inspection planning and supervise inspectors.
• Review drawings and specs to ensure inspection provisions.
