Job summary

Franklin Sports, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Quality Assurance and Testing Specialist to support our QA/QC department in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid option.

You will oversee product safety testing and remediation with vendors to ensure 100% compliance with US federal, state, and major account regulations. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in QA/QC for consumer products, strong knowledge of CPSIA, ASTM, FTC, EN, and related standards, and excellent communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally with a focus in Quality Control or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in QA/QC in the consumer product industry, toy or sports sector.
• Strong knowledge of Consumer Product Safety Regulations and testing principles (ASTM, CPSIA, FTC, EN, etc.).
• Experience working with Testing Labs, Vendors, Product Management, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update testing protocols, forms, and SOPs to ensure compliance with product safety regulations and customer requirements.
• Serve as liaison with third‑party testing laboratories; negotiate pricing and coordinate testing programs.
• Review protocols from QA staff and provide guidance on testing requirements and compliance.
• Update vendor manuals with safety regulations and communicate policy changes to vendors and internal teams.
• Manage testing/inspection status for major Direct Import programs and monitor progress.
• Review artwork, sign-offs, catalogs, and risk assessments related to safety and liability.
• Handle the CPSCs eFiling program and maintain supporting records.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Management, Sourcing, Operations, QA, vendors and customers.
