QA Mentor is looking for a highly experienced and results-driven Senior QA Process Consultant to join our QA Audit and Process Improvement Practice with minimum of 15+ years of experience in QA leadership roles, with a strong background in conducting QA audits, driving process improvements, and leading quality program transformation initiatives within organizations.

This is a 12-month+ QA Transformation engagement, focused on:

• Assessing and improving existing QA processes
• Designing and implementing a best-in-class quality program
• Transforming current QA practices into a well-oiled, high-performing engine for multiple clients

Specific Roles and Responsibilities:

• Provides Technical Leadership and Strategic Direction to the Testing Organization (TO)
• Reviews and recommends best practices for Test Strategy and Test Policy formulation
• Responsible for orchestrating and developing Metrics & KPI Strategy Formation and adaption
• Responsible for defining STLC (Software Test Life Cycle) and incorporating it with in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Responsible for coaching and training on various QA strategies and methodologies.
• Pro-actively analyze current processes and practices and suggest/ drive improvements. Also, defines new QA processes as needed.
• Has wide-reaching scope, impact and influence extending beyond the confines of the Testing Organization and spans across the entire product organization.
• Involved in driving organization-wide Quality Process initiatives
• Involved in hiring activities for the Test Organization and mentoring of Test Organization team members

Ideal Skills & Traits:

• 15+ years in QA leadership, enterprise testing, or technology transformation roles
• Deep understanding of software quality, business risk, and organizational change management
• Proven experience defining or implementing testing frameworks at enterprise scale
• Experience with implementing quality KPIs, and hybrid testing strategies
• Executive presence with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder influence skills
