Job summary

Oliver James Group is seeking a Senior Quality Engineering Lead to design and deliver an enterprise‑wide QA platform for a leading financial services client. This role focuses on scalable QA capabilities rather than testing single applications, shaping standards, frameworks and tools across unit, integration, front‑end and platform testing.

You will manage external delivery partners, coordinate onshore/offshore teams, and mentor engineers to embed quality into the delivery lifecycle, with strong

Qualifications

Significant experience building enterprise-scale QA capabilities.
Hands-on with front-end automation using Playwright, Cucumber and Selenium.
Strong API, database, data/file ingestion and performance testing.
Experience aligning QA with CI/CD and architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and evolve an enterprise QA platform for scalable quality coverage.
Set standards for unit and integration testing across teams.
Lead front-end test automation strategy and execution.
Drive platform-level testing across APIs, databases, ingestion, and performance.
Manage external testing partners and ensure alignment with architecture.
Coordinate onshore/offshore delivery and mentor teams.
