Job summary

Drivemode in California, a Honda division, is seeking a highly capable QA Manager to lead the mobile app quality initiatives for iOS and Android, coordinating with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders across Honda.

You will drive QA strategy, implement test plans and automation, oversee test cases, and ensure quality meets Honda's standards for new vehicle features, with travel to on-site facilities in Japan, Ohio, and Los Angeles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
• 3+ years in a QA management role.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and testing strategies.
• Proven track record leading QA for software and hardware.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience testing mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Experience building and maintaining mobile test automation.
• Able to interpret technical documentation and API specs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage the QA team and their growth.
• Develop, implement, and manage QA protocols and strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes and tooling.
• Oversee design and review of test cases aligned to product specs.
• Collaborate with product teams to align QA with objectives.
• Establish communication with hardware teams and suppliers.
• Plan vehicle/hardware tests with external QA teams.
• Report QA metrics and team performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Manage QA test plans and on-site travel to Japan, Ohio, and LA.
