Job summary

Veracity Ventures Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA/QC development, implementation and administration ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and customer conformance across the site.

The role requires guiding CAPA, change control, and portions of the commercialization process, plus leading food safety programs and preventive controls such as HACCP/HARPC, recall, sanitation and environmental monitoring.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant field.
• Project Management & Change Management Experience
• 5+ years of experience in food, supplement, or related industry.
• Familiarity with FDA
• GFSI Scheme (ie SQF, BRC)
• Certification focused on Quality and Food Safety for Supply Chain requirement: PCQI or HACCP
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; required to stand, walk, sit, and reach.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, implementation and administration of QA/QC to ensure safety and regulatory conformance.
• Integrate quality priorities into the operational excellence process.
• Manage CAPA program including customer and vendor complaints, holds and audits.
• Oversee change control and portions of commercialization process.
• Lead food safety programs and preventive controls (HACCP/HARPC) and recalls.
