Job summary

First Command Financial Services is seeking a Senior Test Lead to drive high-quality testing across multiple agile teams and initiatives. You will standardize QA processes, support test automation, and monitor key metrics to improve reliability and delivery predictability.

You will collaborate with QA leadership, product owners, and development teams to ensure testing aligns with business goals, compliance, and client needs. The role shapes long-term quality maturity and tooling optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of QA experience.
• Experience in agile environments with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• E2E QA landscape including core testing, test data management, and test environment/tool management.
• Ability to collaborate with development teams and stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of metrics measurement and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving and proactive issue resolution skills.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools/frameworks.
• Hands-on understanding of Salesforce landscape.
• Exposure to performance and security testing is a plus.
• Experience in the financial domain is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Define test approaches, strategies, and quality controls for projects and releases.
• Ensure test plans, scenarios, and scripts align with business requirements, compliance, and risk considerations.
• Provide direction on QA tasks and mentorship to team members.
• Offer guidance and set priorities to ensure timely test execution.
• Review test deliverables for consistency and accuracy.
• Maintain traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.
• Report test progress, coverage, and defect trends to leadership.
• Recommend go/no-go decisions based on results and risk assessment.
• Implement and monitor QA processes, including automation and data/environment management.
• Ensure QA standards and processes are followed across teams.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Business Analysts to identify test needs early.
• Champion testing standards, tools, and processes.
• Identify gaps and propose improvements in testing coverage and tooling.
• Support adoption of automation and data-driven testing initiatives.
