Job summary

Hyve Solutions in the United States is seeking a highly experienced Lead Tester to oversee quality assurance efforts. You will lead a team of testers, develop test strategies, and ensure delivery of high-quality products across Hyve's software platforms.

The role requires guiding testing across functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing, collaborating with development and product management, and championing best practices in software quality assurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in software QA with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Experience building and implementing comprehensive test strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA testers, including performance reviews.
• Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, cases, and scripts based on project requirements.
• Define and drive overall testing strategy, methodologies, and processes to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and stakeholders to understand project scope and deliverables.
• Oversee execution of functional, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, and track defects, driving timely resolution with development teams.
• Establish and report on quality metrics, providing insights for process improvements.
• Champion best practices in software QA and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in release planning and deployment activities.
