Job summary

Handtevy-Pediatric Emergency Standards is seeking a Senior QA Lead to drive automation across our web, mobile, and backend platforms. You’ll write TypeScript automation in the same repository as engineers and own testing architecture while coaching QA engineers.

You will apply AI-assisted tools to expand coverage, triage flaky tests, and ensure reliable release readiness. This role partners with clinical teams to protect patient safety in healthcare SaaS.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA or SDET roles, incl. 2+ years leading/mentoring.
• Strong automation skills in TypeScript/JavaScript with a framework you shaped.
• Experience automating mobile app testing (Appium/Detox).
• Solid API testing experience with REST services.
• Experience CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions).
• Experience using AI tools in QA.
• Clear communication with engineers, product, leadership.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for web, mobile, and backend.
• Write automation in TypeScript alongside the engineering team in the same repo.
• Own test architecture: framework choices, data strategy, environments, CI integration.
• Use AI-assisted tools to generate tests, expand coverage, triage failures.
• Mentor QA engineers and define risk-based release readiness criteria.
