Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a seasoned QA leader to own quality strategy for complex network security software. You will drive release readiness, risk assessments, and technical testing across firewall capabilities and security services.

Lead automation efforts, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, DevOps, and release teams to ensure scalable quality and dependable customer outcomes. Based in Pune with potential remote/hybrid options.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of total technical experience with 2+ years in engineering leadership.
• Strong networking and security fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, HA, IDS/IPS).
• Proven testing of firewall products and network security solutions.
• Ability to lead QA for complex software releases and risk management.
• Experience growing QA teams across locations and time zones.
• Knowledge of test automation strategy, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices.
• Ability to assess architecture and risk and ensure test coverage for complex systems.
• Excellent communication to influence senior decision-makers.
• Familiarity with SonicOS is a plus.
• Willingness to work from Pune, India; remote/hybrid options may apply.

Responsibilities

• Define quality strategy and release management across major releases.
• Establish quality gates and release readiness criteria.
• Lead risk-based testing and shift-left practices.
• Provide technical leadership for firewall capabilities and security services.
• Develop long-term automation roadmap across UI, API, CLI, and end-to-end testing.
• Oversee test environments across hardware, virtual, and cloud deployments.
• Lead release readiness reviews and communicate risks to stakeholders.
