Job summary

StoneX Group Inc. in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Senior Staff QA who will mentor and lead QA Analysts, design and implement tests, debug issues, and track quality metrics across projects.

You will coach junior testers, participate in requirement analysis, write and execute test cases, perform manual testing, and collaborate with the automation team to select candidates for automation. This is a four-day-in-office role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and/or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years in software quality assurance experience required.
• Experience with test planning, design, and execution.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead QA Analysts; act as SME for QA activities.
• Design and implement tests; perform root-cause analyses.
• Write and execute test cases; perform manual testing.
• Track defects; provide test status and metrics to project management.
• Collaborate with automation team to select test cases for automation.
• Provide estimates for the test effort and assist in test planning.
• Support development in debugging and retesting defects.
