AT&T in Plano, Texas is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance engineer to design, develop, and execute test strategies for enterprise applications, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and system integrations.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in software quality engineering, strong test automation skills, and experience with CI/CD, cloud, and AI validation, collaborating with engineers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is required.
• 5+ years in software quality engineering or QA.
• Experience with manual and automated testing across web/cloud/mobile apps.
• Strong knowledge of test automation, APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures.
• Experience with performance, security, and regression testing.
• Understanding of AI concepts including LLMs and AI validation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or JavaScript with CI/CD exposure.
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test strategies for enterprise apps, AI-powered solutions, APIs, and integrations.
• Create and maintain manual and automated test cases for quality and security.
• Validate AI/ML solutions, data quality, prompt performance, and responsible AI requirements.
• Perform performance, load, stress, and security testing to meet standards.
• Identify, track, and validate defects through resolution and retesting.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders on requirements.
• Build automated testing frameworks supporting CI/CD environments.
• Develop AI agent testing approaches for LLM integrations and automation.
• Analyze results, identify quality risks, and recommend improvements.
• Drive quality practices and standards across projects and teams.
• Lead complex testing efforts and provide guidance to teammates.
• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery.
