Job summary

The Food Source International, Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee product quality from development through shipment.

You will conduct inspections, document issues, and develop processes to minimize defects while ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Responsibilities include leading QA staff, signing off on quality, and implementing inspection workflows in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field.
• HACCP and PCQI certifications preferred.
• 5 years QA auditor/technician experience in the food industry.
• 13 years supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of food safety testing methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee product quality across development stages and ensure standards.
• Document quality concerns and develop processes to minimize defects.
• Sign off on quality before delivering products to next step.
• Develop and implement inspection standards and workflows.
• Lead and train QA staff in inspection processes.
