You will set testing strategy, build and maintain automation, and partner with developers and product stakeholders to deliver reliable releases.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in software QA, 5+ years in test automation, and proven leadership of QA engineers.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software QA experience, including 5+ years in test automation.
• Strong experience building automation frameworks with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
• Hands‑on API testing experience using Postman, Karate, REST Assured, or similar tools.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with test case management, regression testing, and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Solid understanding of Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Git or similar source control.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring QA engineers.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own test strategy, planning, and execution for the engineering team.
• Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for web apps, APIs, and backend services.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate data accuracy across APIs and databases.
• Lead defect management and root cause analysis on production issues.
• Use AI-enabled testing tools to improve coverage and defect detection.
• Establish and promote QA standards and best practices.
• Mentor engineers and testers on test automation and shift-left testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
