Job summary

The Freeman Company in Orlando is seeking a Senior QA Lead to guide the Application QA group, establish test strategies, and drive priority and specialized testing initiatives. You will own load/performance testing plans and translate designs into test approaches, using AI tools to accelerate test creation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software QA/testing across multiple applications.
• Ability to design a test strategy and identify high-risk areas.
• Experience designing and executing load/performance testing (e.g., JMeter).
• Experience using AI/LLM tools to generate QA artifacts.
• Strong cross-team communication and coordination.
• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field; equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Escalation point for Application QA team and coverage when unavailable.
• Lead priority and specialized testing initiatives.
• Partner with QA teams to ensure testing standards across teams.
• Own ad hoc requests; coordinate or perform the work.
• Design, build, and execute load/performance test plans (e.g., JMeter).
• Utilize AI tools to generate test cases and scripts.
• Provide regular status updates and escalate risks to QA Manager.
