Job summary

Trillium Staffing seeks a Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to lead testing strategy and automation efforts. You will collaborate with the project team to define test plans, automate test scripts, and drive quality across functional, integration, performance, endurance, and security testing within an agile delivery cycle.

The role requires 8+ years in QA and 4+ years in test automation, with strong expertise in Selenium and JMeter. A BS in CS/IT is required; Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on software quality assurance experience.
• 4+ years of experience using test automation technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in software testing methodologies, test planning and execution strategies.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience guiding junior and mid-level QA team members.
• Expertise in performance testing.
• Ability to define and execute comprehensive testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Define the overall QA and automation strategy for the project.
• Identify test scope, testing types, and automation feasibility.
• Evaluate tech stack and recommend automation frameworks, tools, and architecture.
• Establish quality metrics (test coverage, defect leakage, pass rate, stability).
• Oversee and participate in creating, designing, and executing automated tests.
• Determine priority for test scenarios and create execution plans.
• Collaborate with development, product management and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
