Job summary

Ventura Coastal, LLC is hiring a QA Lab Technician III in Visalia, CA to lead advanced testing of juices and oils using HPLC, GC, and microbiological methods. The role includes calibrating equipment, data entry, and shift coverage across three shifts.

We require a BS degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology and 3–5 years in a food processing environment, plus proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems. Strong teamwork and safety adherence are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years in a food processing environment.
• BS Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biology required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and large ERP applications.
• Team-based work ability is essential.
• Operates HPLC, GC, refractometer and titration equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced testing of juices and oils using HPLC, GC and microbiology.
• Calibrate lab equipment at shift start and document results.
• Input data accurately into CitrOS/Sage; manage samples from tanks and silos.
• Conduct routine analyses of acidity, sugar, oil, and other quality metrics.
• Complete pre-operational audits and ensure CCP compliance.
