Job summary

CBRE Government Services seeks a Project Inspector/QA Manager to oversee FAA airport infrastructure construction onsite. You will watch for conformance to drawings, specs, and contracts, while coordinating with contractors and stakeholders to drive timely, quality project delivery.

Shifts vary (early to late) with occasional weekends and overnight work; extensive travel to project sites is required. A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in related fields are expected, along with OSHA and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Quality Management, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in construction management, inspection, QA/QC, or project management.
• Certifications in OSHA safety, construction inspection, quality management, or project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite oversight and inspection of construction.
• Review work for conformance with drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance to meet quality requirements.
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
• Conduct quality inspections and observations.
• Prepare daily inspection reports and provide project updates.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, inspection records, and photographs.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor progress and identify schedule, quality, or compliance risks.
• Provide guidance and coaching to contractors and site personnel.
