Job summary

Camunda is seeking a Senior Manager, QA Engineering to lead Camunda 8 QA strategy, governance, and automation across functional and reliability teams. You will manage twelve ICs, a principal engineer, and a manager, shaping the structure for scale and ensuring coverage for developers, admins, and users in Kubernetes, cloud, and bare-metal environments.

You will report to the VP of Engineering. The role emphasizes building quality metrics, guiding reliability testing, and aligning QA with roadmap

Qualifications

Proven track record leading QA in large engineering orgs.
Ability to define end-to-end QA strategy and quality gates.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the end-to-end QA strategy for Camunda 8 and establish quality gates.
Partner with principal engineering to mature reliability and performance testing.
Guide automation strategy and QA processes for high-quality outcomes.
Develop actionable quality metrics, dashboards, and reports for leadership and roadmap decisions.
Lead and scale QA teams, evolving structure for maximum impact.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders to embed quality across the organization.
