Job summary

In Time Tec, a global software solutions company based in Meridian, Idaho, is seeking a Senior QA Engineer / SDET. This is a hands-on, senior individual-contributor role focused on test strategy, automation architecture, Playwright, and scalable regression coverage for web and mobile workflows.

You will mentor engineers and partner with product teams to reduce risk before releases. The position requires 5+ years in QA or SDET roles, strong programming skills (TypeScript, Python, or C#),

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on QA or SDET experience with test automation.
• Experience designing and scaling production test frameworks, not just individual tests.
• Strong automation with Playwright or similar modern tools; fixtures, parallelization, retries, tracing, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test strategy and automation architecture for product suites including yard operations and financial workflows.
• Develop release-quality gates and risk-based recommendations to determine ship readiness.
• Mentor engineers and provide testability guidance across QA and development teams.
• Drive CI/CD test health, reduce flakiness, and improve feedback velocity.
• Perform root-cause analysis of production incidents and translate into durable regression coverage.
