Job summary

In Time Tec, a Meridian, Idaho-based software solutions company, is hiring a full-time QA Engineer I / SDET. You will work with developers and product owners to identify risk early, test new features, and build regression coverage across web and API.

You will blend manual testing with automation and help advance Playwright and API testing in a CI/CD environment, mentoring under senior QA for code review and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Two years of software quality assurance or related technical role experience.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or Cypress.
• Programming or scripting experience in TypeScript, Python, C#, or similar language.
• API and SQL knowledge to validate behavior and data.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute risk-based manual testing for features, integrations, and defects.
• Add and maintain automated tests for web, API, and mobile workflows.
• Identify edge cases and acceptance criteria with developers and product managers.
• Write clear, reproducible defect reports and verify fixes.
• Log, triage, and track defects in the team’s issue-tracking system.
