Job summary

In Time Tec in Meridian, Idaho, seeks a Senior QA Engineer/SDET for a hands-on, senior role. You will own test strategy, drive automation architecture, mentor engineers, and ensure coverage across UI, API, and data layers for multiple product areas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in QA or SDET roles with hands-on test automation.
• Designing or scaling production test automation frameworks.
• Deep Playwright or comparable automation experience.
• Strong programming in TypeScript, Python, or C#.
• Experience with API, integration, contract, and CI/CD testing.
• Strong SQL skills for test-data setup and validation.
• Ability to communicate risk-based release judgments to stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers on testability.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test strategy and automation scope.
• Design Playwright framework architecture and standards.
• Provide UI, API, integration, contract, and data-layer coverage.
• Establish release-quality gates and risk-based recommendations.
• Maintain CI/CD test health and fast feedback loops.
• Perform root-cause analysis of incidents and defects.
• Guide AI-assisted test design and coverage analysis.
• Mentor QA and development engineers on testability.
