Eliassen Group is seeking a QA Engineer/SDET for a remote contract role focused on automated testing, CI/CD integration, and security validation for government workloads. The role requires hands-on experience with Playwright, Java services, and cloud environments, plus the ability to work in a U.S. federal context.

You will develop test plans, build AI-assisted test scripts, and collaborate with agile teams across Dev, Test, and Ops to ensure compliance and secure deployments.

Qualifications

• Experience building CI/CD integrated automated tests.
• AI-driven test-script generation capabilities.
• Experience with cloud-native Java services.
• Strong Linux and cloud environment skills.
• Ability to work in US Federal security context.

Responsabilités

• Perform software testing across unit, integration, end-to-end, performance, and security domains.
• Develop test plans and create automated test scripts integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead AI-driven test-script generation and maintenance using modern AI tooling.
• Debug software issues, analyze failures, and determine root causes.
• Execute feature testing for cloud-native Java services on ECS, EKS, and OpenShift.
• Validate environments across Dev, Test, and Ops and manage lab setups.
• Integrate security and compliance testing, including SAST, DAST, and control validation.
• Collaborate directly with developers within Agile teams.
• Support continuous monitoring and evidence generation for ATO.
