Job summary

MapLarge, Inc. is seeking a Senior QA Engineer for a 100% remote role (continental US only, excluding Pacific Time Zone and New York).

You will lead automation, exploratory testing, and CI/CD integration to ensure reliability and performance of our geospatial analytics platform. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in software QA, strong testing fundamentals, and hands-on experience with Playwright, NUnit, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or test automation.
• Experience developing and maintaining automated tests for complex software applications.
• Strong experience performing exploratory and manual testing, developing test plans, and investigating defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Perform exploratory and manual testing to validate new features and evaluate user experience.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Investigate defects by reproducing issues and collaborating with developers to verify fixes.
• Collaborate with engineers and product managers to understand requirements and quality risks.
• Identify gaps in test coverage and improve automation and testing processes.
• Track and communicate defects, testing progress, and release readiness to stakeholders.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve testing practices and overall product reliability.
