Job summary

Dispel, LLC is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team and scale automated testing across our cybersecurity platform. This hands-on role leads Playwright-based test automation, mentors engineers, and partners with security and product teams to improve quality and release confidence.

You will define QA strategies, build scalable frameworks, and ensure reliable, fast feedback in CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, SDET, or similar role.
• Experience designing automated tests for modern web applications.
• Hands-on Playwright with JavaScript or TypeScript, focusing on scalable automation frameworks.
• Strong experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and providing constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of security testing approaches and test-data management.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA strategies, frameworks, and automated test plans across multiple products.
• Define automation roadmap and quality metrics for visibility into coverage and reliability.
• Develop and maintain Playwright-based automated tests across frontend, backend, and infrastructure.
• Own CI/CD integrated testing infrastructure and quality gates.
• Diagnose flaky tests and resolve automation failures; analyze results to differentiate defects.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and review code to raise engineering practices.
