Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end test strategy and planning for complex software products. You will balance technical leadership with hands-on testing to mitigate risks and streamline releases, collaborating with engineering and product teams across our remote global organization.

You will design multi-layer test plans (UI, API, performance), mentor juniors, and help raise quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Experience across UI, API, and performance testing.
• Strong leadership and end-to-end defect lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of risk-based testing methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern multi-layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Identify product risks and prioritize testing efforts on critical functionalities.
• Oversee defect lifecycle with rigorous tracking and timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with roadmaps.
• Define and refine QA processes to improve velocity and reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of quality excellence.
