Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to own end-to-end test strategy and planning for complex software products. You will balance technical leadership with hands-on testing to mitigate risks and streamline releases, collaborating with engineering and product teams across our remote global organization.

You will design multi-layer test plans (UI, API, performance), mentor juniors, and help raise quality standards.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Software Quality Assurance or Test Engineering experience.
• Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Experience across UI, API, and performance testing.
• Strong leadership and end-to-end defect lifecycle management.
• Deep understanding of risk-based testing methodologies.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Senior QA Engineer at BairesDev

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will own the end-to-end test strategy and planning to ensure the highest quality standards across complex software products. You will act as a strategic quality advisor, balancing technical leadership with hands-on execution to mitigate risks and streamline the release process.

What You'll Do

• Design and govern comprehensive, multi-layer test strategies covering UI, API, and performance testing.
• Lead the identification and assessment of product risks to prioritize testing efforts on critical business functionalities.
• Oversee the defect lifecycle, ensuring rigorous tracking, communication, and resolution of quality issues.
• Collaborate with engineering leads and product managers to align quality goals with project roadmaps and delivery timelines.

What We Are Looking For
