IllTip is hiring a Senior QA Engineer to own quality across complex features and to build test automation from the ground up. The role includes mentoring others and ensuring HIPAA-level standards in healthcare software.

The position focuses on UI/e2E and API testing, CI/CD integration, and collaborating with product teams to deliver reliable software. Independent work and leadership are expected.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional QA engineering experience, including end-to-end ownership.
• Hands-on manual testing with clear defect documentation.
• Strong Python skills for test automation, plus Playwright/Selenium/Cypress experience.
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD integration, and building test frameworks from scratch.
• Solid QA methodologies and quality metrics with strong communication.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilidades

• Own quality for complex features end to end, from reviewing designs through release readiness.
• Build test automation frameworks, UI/end-to-end suites and API tests, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Write and maintain test plans, test strategy documents and coverage for healthcare workflows, including HIPAA test coverage.
• Run performance and security testing and define quality metrics for leadership.
• Document defects clearly, report defect status and present test results and quality risks to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and partner closely with developers and product teams.
