Job summary

Prenuvo is seeking a Senior QA Engineer I to ensure the quality of a suite of provider tools, patient workflows, and diagnostic reporting. The role emphasizes collaboration with product, design, and engineering teams to shape quality from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in QA, deep knowledge of QA methodologies, frameworks, and accessibility testing, and experience with REST/GraphQL APIs. This is a fully remote role with PST-hour alignment and visa-free work in the United States.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in software QA.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test design techniques and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, client-server architecture, and APIs.
• Experience testing RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Awareness of WCAG accessibility standards and testing tools.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest).
• Experience with bug tracking systems (JIRA).
• Strong analytical and communication skills; problem-solving abilities.
• Collaborative mindset and passion for high-quality, user-centered products.
• BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, design, and dev teams to shape quality from the ground up.
• Translate requirements into test strategies and plans.
• Create, execute, and maintain test documentation and plans.
• Perform manual and automated testing of web applications (functional, UI, regression).
• Test REST/GraphQL APIs for robustness and correctness.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track quality issues.
• Lead root-cause analysis with developers to accelerate fixes.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices.
• Suggest process improvements to raise product quality and engineering performance.
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality.
• Ensure accessibility testing (WCAG/ADA) is applied.
• Contribute to performance and security testing efforts when applicable.
