Job summary

In Time Tec, Meridian, Idaho, seeks a senior SDET to own test strategy and automation architecture for an integrated product suite spanning yard operations, cattle purchasing, financial workflows, and dispatch. This hands-on role requires code proficiency, framework decisions, test reviews, and mentoring to reduce release risk.

You will shape end-to-end coverage, drive Playwright architecture, and ensure maintainable automation as the product evolves, with a focus on release quality and fast

Qualifications

• Five or more years of QA or SDET experience with hands-on test automation.
• Experience designing or scaling production test-automation frameworks.
• Deep Playwright or similar automation experience (fixtures, parallelization, retries, tracing, reporting).
• Strong programming in TypeScript, Python, C#, or similar.
• Experience with API, integration, contract, and CI/CD testing.
• Strong SQL skills for test-data setup and validation.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end test strategy for a multi-product suite across yard operations, finance, and logistics.
• Architect Playwright framework including fixtures, utilities, parallel execution, tracing, and reporting.
• Cover UI, API, integration, contract, and data-layer testing for critical workflows.
• Establish release-quality gates and risk-based release recommendations.
• Improve CI/CD test health, reduce flake, and provide actionable failure reporting.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of production incidents to improve regression coverage.
• Provide guidance on AI-assisted test design and coverage-gap analysis.
• Mentor QA and development engineers on testability and framework usage.
• Support mobile automation for native iOS/Android apps.
• Contribute to security, performance, or accessibility testing fundamentals.
