Job summary

Veeva Systems is hiring Senior Quality Engineers to build mission-critical software for the Life Sciences industry. You will drive functional and automated quality across native mobile, desktop/web, and hybrid environments, ensuring high reliability with every release.

The role emphasizes automation, collaboration with product and engineering teams, and mentoring junior QA engineers in modern QA practices and tools. This Work Anywhere position offers flexibility for remote or office work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software quality engineering, software development, or test automation.
• Strong expertise in QA methodologies, automated testing frameworks, and short-cycle software releases.
• Hands-on experience writing and maintaining automated test suites for sanity, boundary, negative, concurrency, and compatibility tests.
• Proven mobile testing experience on iOS and Android across native, hybrid, and mobile web.
• Experience with Windows application testing and cross-browser validation across OS versions and devices.
• Hands-on device testing strategies with device farms or cloud-based platforms.
• Unix/Linux CLI for log analysis and backend debugging.
• SQL for database querying and data validation.
• Experience with API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute multi-platform test strategies for native mobile, Windows desktop/web, and hybrid environments.
• Create comprehensive testing documentation including test plans, automated scripts, risk assessments, and detailed bug reports.
• Work with product and engineering teams to automate features and maximize regression coverage.
• Mentor junior QA engineers in methodologies, automation design, and debugging.
• Develop domain expertise across Veeva’s product suite.
• Collaborate daily in a fast, agile team with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional partners.
• Test and validate quality across complex, non-deterministic edge cases and architectures.
