Job summary

Veeva Systems, a leader in cloud solutions for life sciences, is hiring a Senior Quality Engineer to help ensure quality across software used in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and medical devices. You will contribute to functional and automation testing in an Agile team and collaborate with engineers, product managers, and QA peers.

The role emphasizes fast release cycles in a remote-friendly environment with Veeva's Work Anywhere policy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software QA/testing or test automation experience.
• Experience writing and automating test cases across sanity and in-depth testing including boundary, negative, compatibility, and concurrency tests.
• SQL database querying knowledge.
• Experience with Unix/Linux command line for log analysis.
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman.

Responsibilities

• Work in an agile, small team environment with focus on speed and quality.
• Create test plans, test cases/scripts, and bug reports assessing quality and risk.
• Mentor junior SQAs in QA methodologies and skills.
• Collaborate with the automation group to automate features for better regression coverage.
• Develop deep product expertise to improve QA coverage.
• Conduct QA tests and verify outcomes within schedules.
• Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and other QA testers in an Agile team.
