Job summary

Unison Group is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to ensure the quality, security, and performance of digital banking applications across mobile and web platforms. The role focuses on validating API integrations with Temenos T24 Core Banking and ensuring secure, scalable digital experiences for clients.

In an Agile environment, you will design test strategies, execute comprehensive tests, and collaborate with security, development, and automation teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of QA experience in banking or financial services.
• At least 3 years testing native/hybrid mobile apps (iOS/Android) and web portals.
• Experience with eKYC and OCR verification workflows.
• Proven track record testing API integrations with core banking backends.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery environments and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test strategies for iOS, Android, and web banking apps.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, usability, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate REST/JSON APIs using Postman and SoapUI for data accuracy and error handling.
• Test banking functions: eKYC onboarding, account opening, transfers, wallets, and payments.
• Validate domestic and international payments, and internal transfers.
• Test wallet provisioning, card tokenisation, and Apple Pay integrations.
• Conduct mobile security tests: MFA/OTP, biometrics, OAuth/OIDC, and session management.
• Coordinate with security, development, product, and automation teams to resolve defects.
• Prepare defect metrics and status reports; escalate critical issues.
