Photon is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to lead manual testing while leveraging automation expertise to improve product quality. The role requires hands-on testing across SDLC, collaboration with developers and QA Analysts, and designing robust test plans and strategies.

The candidate should demonstrate strong SQL skills and back-end testing experience, with knowledge of automated testing approaches, agile/scrum environments, and effective communication to prioritize critical business areas.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in manual testing across SDLC/STLC.
• Experience with automated functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing.
• Ability to design and develop test automation scripts.
• Proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium and Cucumber.
• Strong knowledge of functional testing principles.
• Good SQL knowledge with back-end testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Excellent manual testing skills.
• Collaborate with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Analyze and evaluate Software and Business Requirement Documents during all phases of the SDLC and STLC.
• Prepare Test Plans, Test Strategies, and Test Cases as per Business Requirements.
• Communicate and interpret critical business areas early in an application to prioritize test cases accordingly.
