Job summary

Index Engines seeks senior QA Engineers to ensure CyberSense meets high standards of quality across functionality, security, usability and reliability. The Regression Test team handles manual regression testing and various projects.

You will work with product managers, developers, and the Test Automation team to create test plans, scripts in PyTest and Playwright, and perform tests on Linux environments. A strong background in storage tech and backups is preferred.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of QA engineering in a product company.
• Experience testing full-stack applications on Linux.
• Ability to develop test plans from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and Scrum team to understand requirements and user stories.
• Develop, document, and execute test plans as part of a team.
• Perform QA testing across the application stack.
• Generate data and backups for testing backup applications using databases, VMs, and file systems.
• Install and configure Index Engines products on Linux environments, including VM creation.
• Assist Test Automation team with automated tests using PyTest and Playwright.
• Ensure seamless integration of software modules and adherence to system requirements.
