Job summary

NICO National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE is seeking an experienced test automation lead to design, create, test and implement automated testing to reduce risk and accelerate software delivery.

The role blends hands-on testing with leadership, collaborating with engineers, product partners and business stakeholders to drive quality across the SDLC. This hybrid position is based in Omaha with 50% office time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3+ years related work experience.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Knowledge of software development practices and procedures.
• Experience working with Selenium, C#, Postman, and related technologies

Responsibilities

• Plan testing (including Guidewire suite of applications) for new and existing functionality.
• Work closely with teams to design testing strategies and integrate testing into the software development lifecycle to execute on test plans.
• Identify opportunities to reduce testing time and effort by automating repeatable tests.
• Execute and implement test cases, working with engineers, product partners, and business stakeholders.
• Document and analyze test results and recommend corrective action.
