Job summary

Symbotic is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Quality Assurance team within the Software Engineering organization. You will define and execute quality strategies to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of Symbotic's warehouse automation software platforms.

You will collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver high-quality software solutions while driving testing excellence throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA or related domain.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#, Java).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Define comprehensive QA strategies for warehouse automation and logistics software systems in collaboration with US leadership.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure test coverage throughout the software lifecycle.
• Evaluate and implement QA processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and CI/CD integration.
• Perform functional, regression, performance, and scalability testing in simulated environments.
• Coordinate work for offshore SQA teams and align testing with business objectives.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices.
• Manage defect lifecycle and prioritize issues effectively.
