Job summary

Spotware Systems is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Full stack) to join our product team in Limassol office (or remote). You will perform manual and automated testing across backend and frontend, design tests, and contribute to test strategies for high-availability systems.

You will leverage Java for test automation, work with Allure TestOps, and validate data with SQL while collaborating with product managers and developers to deliver robust software.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA experience in backend projects.
• 2+ years of troubleshooting Java applications.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation.
• Solid testing methodologies and design techniques.
• Experience with Allure TestOps and traceability to requirements.
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience testing TCP socket-based integrations (WebSocket, gRPC).
• Strong analytical skills for impact analysis and traceability.
• Understanding of SQL for backend data validation.
• Linux CLI for troubleshooting and test env maintenance.
• Excellent English and Russian communication.
• AI augmentation as part of workflow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough requirements analysis with cross-functional teams.
• Perform manual and automated functional/non-functional testing.
• Identify, track, and report bugs with root cause analysis.
• Maintain test environments for stable test execution.
• Contribute to and execute test strategies for high-availability systems.
• Collaborate in code reviews to improve automated tests and production code.
