Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a seasoned QA Engineer to design and execute test scenarios for a distributed platform. You will collaborate with developers and Product Owners to define testing strategies aligned with domain-driven design and ensure quality across UI, API, and data flows.

You will automate tests using Cypress and Playwright, validate REST APIs and messaging queues, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitor reliability with Grafana, and help establish rigorous quality standards for multi-market

Qualifications

• 6+ years as tester/QA engineer with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Experience testing distributed systems, microservices, and asynchronous messaging.
• Proficient with C#, .NET, xUnit and automation tools such as Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL; Docker/Kubernetes experience.
• Hands-on REST API testing and event-driven architectures; Agile and DDD knowledge.
• Polish language proficiency; EU work eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Collaborate with developers and Product Owners to define testing strategies aligned with DDD.
• Automate test cases for UI, API, and end-to-end processes using Cypress and Playwright.
• Validate system integrations and messaging architectures using REST API testing and queues.
• Maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Monitor system performance and reliability with Grafana dashboards.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvements and establish standards.
• Support test management with Jira + Xray, ensuring traceability and documentation.
• Wroclaw-based opportunity with remote work model for a client building a platform across markets.
