Job summary

Actalent in Golden Valley, MN seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead verification, validation, and quality efforts for embedded software and autonomous robotic systems. You will develop automated test frameworks, HIL platforms, and verification strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include designing and executing test strategies, creating traceable test cases, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Software/Computer/Electrical/Robotics).
• 6+ years in software testing, test automation, verification, or embedded systems.
• Experience developing HIL test platforms, simulation environments, and CI/CD-integrated test solutions.
• Strong C# programming, scripting, and debugging skills.
• Experience with CAN/CANopen communications and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute software test strategies covering functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Create test cases from requirements and maintain traceability.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and HIL platforms.
• Develop C# automated test scripts for embedded controllers and machine functions.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines and release workflows.
• Analyze results, debug failures, and document defects.
