Job summary

Photon in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Senior QA/S QA Engineer to lead testing for online banking applications onsite. The role requires 7+ years in software QA, with banking domain experience, API testing, and automation familiarity.

You will design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests, validate login, payments, transfers, statements, and user management, and collaborate with developers and business teams in Agile ceremonies.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software QA/testing experience, preferably within banking/financial services.
• Strong experience testing online/mobile/digital banking applications; API, SQL validation.
• Experience with Jira, Postman, SQL Developer and test management tools; SDLC/STLC/Agile.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests for online banking apps.
• Analyze requirements and prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, and data.
• Validate login, accounts, payments, transfers, statements, and user management.
• Perform API testing and validate frontend-backend integrations.
• Identify defects using Jira and collaborate with teams; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Support UAT, release validation, and provide risk/defect summaries.
