Job summary

Cross River is seeking a Senior QA Engineer who is passionate about building quality into software from the start. You will define and evolve quality engineering practices, automation strategy, and release validation across our enterprise platforms.

The ideal candidate thinks like a software engineer, takes ownership of quality, and drives continuous improvement. You will design and implement automated testing across Angular applications, integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps

Qualifications

6+ years in software quality engineering, test automation, or similar.
Strong TypeScript programming skills.
Hands-on with Playwright or Cypress and modern browser automation.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks.
Experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Familiarity with Angular applications and Gherkin/Cucumber.
Knowledge of AWS, containers, and cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

Own the quality engineering strategy across enterprise platforms with automation and measurable quality.
Design, build, and continuously improve scalable UI automation using Playwright and Cypress in TypeScript.
Own micro frontend integration and end-to-end testing for Angular applications.
Integrate automated testing and quality gates into Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy release workflows.
Define and publish quality metrics, test reports, and automated notifications.
