Job summary

AlphaSense is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality across the FinData portfolio, driving AI-first testing standards and scalable QA practices. You will shape data pipelines, AI model validation, and system observability while collaborating with multiple engineering teams to ensure robust releases.

You will champion Quality by Design, automate where possible, and mentor teams to raise testing maturity, with compensation and equity options in a fast-growing AI-driven environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA engineering in AI/ML data platforms or equivalent.
• Experience with data pipelines, model validation, and observability.
• Strong testing theory and QA design principles.

Responsibilities

• Define long-term testing strategy and quality culture for the AI Platform.
• Establish quality metrics, coverage standards, and data-driven outcomes.
• Grow test coverage with automation and complex test datasets.
• Plan tests for new features across unit, integration, and E2E layers.
• Improve testing processes and perform targeted exploratory testing.
• Coach engineers on quality-by-design and shift-left practices.
