Job summary

RFgen is seeking a QA Engineer to anchor quality at our El Dorado Hills headquarters. You will own test strategy and execution across customer deployment projects, shaping how we test with AI tools and modern practices.

Collaborating with Solution Architects, engineering, and product teams, you will ensure deployments meet requirements before go-live and raise quality across our ERP integrations and configurations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing and QA, independently capable.
• Hands-on manual testing experience across functional areas.
• Experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to enhance QA work.
• Proven test planning and structured test case design.
• Strong risk judgment and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Clear written and verbal communication for stakeholders.
• Part of a globally distributed team, some India overlap.
• Basic SQL for backend validation and testing.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning and execution across customer deployments.
• Validate customized builds, configurations, and ERP integrations.
• Lead AI-driven QA initiatives to improve coverage and speed.
• Perform broad testing: functional, regression, exploratory, backend.
• Drive defects to resolution end-to-end.
• Own go-live readiness and provide clear status updates.
• Partner with architects, engineering, product and support.
• Maintain QA docs and standards across projects.
