Job summary

RFgen Software, a division of the DataMAX Software Group, Inc., seeks a QA Engineer for our El Dorado Hills, CA headquarters. You will own test strategy across customer deployment projects and drive AI-driven QA initiatives, partnering with solution architects, engineering, and product teams.

You will oversee test planning, execution, and go-live readiness, ensuring high quality across ERP integrations and customized builds in a global, distributed team environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software testing and quality assurance, with independence.
• Strong hands-on manual testing experience (black-box & functional).
• Demonstrated use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to improve QA work.
• Proven experience in test planning and structured test case design.
• Sound risk prioritization and multitasking abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own test planning and execution for customer deployment projects.
• Validate customized builds, configurations, and ERP integrations.
• Adopt AI-driven QA practices and explore new automation opportunities.
• Conduct functional, regression, exploratory, and backend testing across deployments.
