Position: Senior QA Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will lead efforts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through effective leadership and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technical Oversight
2. Collaborate with stakeholders: Act as the primary contact for a Federal customer, representing their needs within our organization and communicating regularly with their government counterparts to address questions and define new feature requests.
3. Define Test Strategies: Develop comprehensive test plans based on requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
4. Code Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and maintainability.
5. Technical Expertise: Provide guidance and insights to enhance testing practices, including automation efforts with the larger QA team.
6. Testing Oversight: Supervise all testing activities to ensure standards are met and products are delivered on time.
7. Process Development: Establish and refine QA processes, procedures, and standards.
8. Quality Delivery: Ensure the delivery of top-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in manual and automated testing.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PyTest.
• Deep understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
• Comfort working with Linux appliances and system/OS configurations.
• Experience with network protocols, traffic generation, and appliances like Gigamon is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards, regulations, test management tools, and reporting applications.
• US Citizenship.
